Venue and Getting There

The National Dog Walk 2011 will be held at East Coast Park’s Angsana Green.

Angsana Green is between the East Coast Lagoon Food Village and Xtreme Skate Park and opposite Sand Castle Building.

East Coast Park is highly accessible with major interconnected expressways, flyovers and underpasses. Visitors getting to the park may choose the following commuting options.

By Car:

  • Traveling on East Coast Parkway, exit to East Coast Park Service Road by using Tanjong Katong Flyover, Still Road Flyover or Bedok Flyover. Parking lots are available at major car parks strategically located within the park.
  • The car parks nearest to Angsana Green are E2 and E3.

By MRT:

  • To Eunos MRT station-connecting bus services: 13, 55 & 155
  • To Bedok MRT station-connecting bus services: 31, 197 & 401 (401 only on Sundays and Public Holidays)
  • To Paya Lebar MRT station-connecting bus services: 76 & 135

Note : Dogs are not allowed on MRT.

Walking/Cycling:

  • East Coast Park is highly accessible via major Park Connectors and underpasses.
  • The main Park Connectors are Siglap Park Connector (Area C4), Bedok Park Connector (Area G2) and the Eastern Coast Park Connector (Area H)
  • Major underpasses and an overhead bridge linking to East Coast Park can also be found along the entire stretch of the park.
