Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD)

Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) is a non-profit organization with the mission to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs in Singapore. We aim to fulfill our mission through programs such as rescuing, fostering and re-homing of stray and abandoned dogs, advocating sterilization as a means of controlling the stray population, heightening public awareness of the responsibilities involved in pet ownership and highlighting the virtues of our local dogs. We believe that all animals big or small deserve a life of love and care, not just a life of fear and survival. Join us as a member, sponsor one of our dogs awaiting adoption or adopt a dog.

Animal Lovers League

Animal Lovers League (ALL) is a non-profit organization giving lodging, food, care and all our love to the beloved dogs and cats forsaken by many. They now have a second chance at Pets Villa where 350 dogs and 300 cats currently reside. ALL will be participating in The National Dog Walk and Carnival 2011 at our own booth, with lovely ALL merchandise on sale. All proceeds from the sale of ALL merchandise goes directly to helping each and every dog and cat that is now loved and cared for at Pets Villa. Several Pet Villa residents will also be attending the walk and carnival, many of which await a special home to call their own. Come visit our booth and have a meet and greet session with some of our most lovely and sweetest residents!

Guide Dogs Association of the Blind

Did you know guide dogs are allowed in Singapore? The Guide Dogs Association of the Blind welcomes you to come meet Kendra Kua, Singapore's first Guide Dog, at this year's National Dog Walk. Kendra has been with Mr Kua Cheng Hock for four years now, and helps him navigate the perils of daily life. After years of struggle, the stage has finally been set for more guide dogs to come into Singapore: two more will be coming at the end of this year. Come find out more about these amazing dogs."

Noah’s Ark CARES

Noah Ark CARES' (Companion Animal Rescue & Education Society) mission is to make Singapore stray free by 2015 through active sterilization. A few years ago, we embarked on a project known as Project Industrial Dogs/Cats which is aimed at sterilizing strays in Industrial estates to prevent the birth of anymore homeless puppies. Our work also includes sharing information about "Responsible Pet Ownership".

Help us to help them and participate in our cause. You can also join our quarterly tours to visit our sanctuary.

• Feeding over 1,000 animals at Noah's Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary (NANAS), home to 800 dogs, 400 cats, 5 horses, 2 monkeys and a hutch or rabbits.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPAC)is a registered animal welfare charity that relies mainly on donations for supporters to continue its important role as a champion af animal welfare.

The two main objectives of SPCA are to promote kindness to animals and prevent cruelty to animals. SPCA provides the following animals welfare services:

• A 24-hour emergency service for sick, injured and very young animals
• Investigation of cruelty cases
• Public education program for students and adults
• Sterilization voucher programs for strays
• A clinic for basic treatment of strays
• Adoption program
• A service for lost and found pets
• Advocacy for the humane treatment of animals
• Running an animal shelter and supporting quarantine for unwanted, abused and abandoned animals

Therapy Dogs, Singapore (TDS)

Therapy Dogs, Singapore (TDS) is a non-profit voluntary organization set up by a group of caring dog-owners who seek to share the unconditional love and affection of their dogs with society's underprivileged and to provide pet-assisted therapy (PAT) to meet their physical and emotional needs. Please visit our booth and talk to our volunteers who will be most happy to share with you their experiences about PAT activities. Our therapy dogs will be there too to greet you with their unconditional love.

Pets Entreprises & Traders Association Singapore (PETAS)

Pets Enterprises & Traders Association (Singapore)’s objective is to promote and encourage unity, friendly relationship and co-operation among traders in dogs, cats, birds, fishes and other small animals, pet food and other accessories, pet transporters, groomers, trainers and other related enterprises in Singapore for the achievement of their common interest.
