Performances

Search & Rescue
Did you know that your dog can be a volunteer to help Singaporeans in need? The Singapore Civil Defence Force will demonstrate how a volunteer dog that can be well trained can perform urban search & rescue work. The SCDF recruits and trains staff and dogs for specialization such as Fire and Rescue, Disaster Assistance and Rescue which includes prolonged fire fighting operations, height and confined space operations, road traffic and industrial accidents.
Frisbee Sports & Doggy Dancing
Frisbees and dancing are not just for humans. Be wowed by the high energy maneuvers in the Frisbee Sports performance. Be entertained by doggy dancing that’s way better than line dancing. Performances by SmartDoggies’ Lucas Bong and Bailey.
Vet Talk On Dog Safety
Dogs, like humans, can fall sick. Pick up tips from a vet on how to give your dog the best health and how to watch out for dangers. What should you do when your dog shows signs of poor appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, difficulty in moving, excessive scratching and so on.

Dog Walks And Try Outs

Dog Walk
This is a mass walk where dog owners and dogs on leash will walk from the starting line to the finish line. It’s a great opportunity to enhance the bond between owner and dog. Every one makes the walk at their own pace as there is no limit on the time taken for the walk. Estimated distance covered is 1.5km. Every participating dog gets a chance to take part in the lucky draw.
Try Outs
Going beyond dog obedience of sit and stay commands, dog sports are a fun way to train your dog. Dog sports allows the dog to enjoy stimulating play time by negotiating obstacles and the owner gains better understanding of the pet. The Try Outs will take place with the Jumper and Agility Equipment, such as the high jump, broad jump, tyre jump through, A-frame dog walk. More experienced dogs can try the Super 60-pole weave for speed. Jumper and Agility competitors will be on hand to provide free coaching.

Fun Events

Fastest Doggy Dash
This event is suitable for any dog that likes to run. Here’s how the game is played - Once the whistle is blown, the dog runs to the finish line. Dogs will be guided by raffia strings with a handler at the start and the finish line. The handlers can encourage the dog to run. Fastest dog wins. Estimated distance covered is 25 metres. There will be prizes for both small and big dog categories.

Furthest Ball Catcher
This event is for any dog that is crazy about playing fetch with a ball. Here’s how the game is played - One handler stands with dog at the finish line. Another handler stands behind the start line to throw a ball to the dog. The dog needs to catch the ball without it bouncing off the grass. A total of 5 throws are allowed. The dog with the furthest distance wins. Estimated distance covered is 10 to 25 metres. There will be prizes for both small and big dog categories.
King And Queen Of The Day
This event is suitable for any dog that is well groomed. Here’s how the game is played - Both the handler and dog will parade like fashion models on stage and showcase their personality. The crowd will vote for their favorite male dog and female dog. Prizes for the best male and best female dogs.
